Flanders Scientific DM211: Color-Accurate 21.5" Broadcast Monitor
The Flanders Scientific DM211 is a professional 21.5" broadcast monitor engineered for creators who demand absolute confidence in their image. Perfectly suited for demanding production, editorial, and broadcast environments, the DM211 delivers exceptional color accuracy, a wide color gamut, and a suite of powerful monitoring tools in a lightweight and power-efficient design. Its compact form factor makes it an ideal companion to the larger DM231, creating a seamless and consistent multi-monitor setup for any workflow, whether you're on set or in the edit bay.
At the heart of the DM211 is FSI’s 3rd generation Color Fidelity and LUT Interpolation Engine (CFE3). This advanced processor utilizes industry-leading tetrahedral LUT interpolation to provide visuals that are significantly more accurate than monitors relying on simpler hardware. Instantly switch between standard color spaces like Rec. 709, SMPTE-C, and DCI-P3, or load up to 16 custom 3D DIT LUTs to manage looks effectively from capture to post. The DM211 integrates seamlessly with leading color management software, including Pomfort Livegrade Pro, QTake, and Assimilate, allowing for real-time LUT updates directly on the monitor.
Eliminate guesswork and maintain perfect color over time with the DM211's advanced, computer-free Auto-Calibration system. Simply connect a supported probe directly to the monitor, and the AutoCal routine will profile the display and generate precise 3D and 1D LUTs on the fly. This unified process ensures your monitor remains a reliable reference point. Further enhance your workflow with the dedicated second screen output, which allows you to mirror your on-screen image—complete with applied LUTs—to downstream monitors, providing a consistent look for clients and collaborators without affecting the clean loop-through signal.
Beyond its color prowess, the DM211 is packed with essential on-screen tools, including a highly adjustable focus assist, customizable frame markers, pixel zoom, and 18 different scope modes like waveform, vectorscope, and histograms. Built into a durable aluminum frame, the monitor weighs just 11.2 lbs (5.1 kg) and supports a wide range of DC (12-24V) and AC power options, making it as versatile in the field as it is in the suite. With its combination of reference-grade performance and professional-grade utility, the DM211 is the tool you can rely on.
