This faceplate integrates four fans to provide maximum cooling, making it essential for workflows utilizing high-power AJA Mini-Converters or for operation in environments with high ambient temperatures, such as on-location shoots or crowded equipment racks. It ensures the reliability and longevity of your converters by maintaining optimal operating temperatures. The faceplate is engineered to draw power from one of the thirteen +12V DC regulated outputs provided by the DRM2-Plus frame's power supply. AJA officially recommends using this active faceplate when the total power consumption of installed converters exceeds 100W in ambient temperatures under 30°C, or exceeds 75W in temperatures over 30°C. This makes the DRM2-PLUS-AF a critical component for maintaining system stability in demanding, mission-critical broadcast, production, and pro AV applications.

Key Features

Active cooling faceplate for the AJA DRM2-Plus rackmount frame

Includes four fans for maximum cooling performance

Ideal for high-power converters or high ambient temperature environments

Draws power from a dedicated +12V DC output on the DRM2-Plus frame

Recommended when power consumption exceeds 75W (over 30°C) or 100W (under 30°C)

Specifications

Specification

Detail

SKU

DRM2-PLUS-AF

EAN/GTIN

VZ-3059115

Weight

2.1 lbs (0.9 kg)

Cooling

Four integrated fans

Compatibility

AJA DRM2-Plus 3RU Rackmount Frame

Country of Origin

USA
