It provides a range of advanced color processing options in a compact device, ensuring consistent and accurate color management from camera acquisition to final display. The ColorBox supports video formats up to 4K/UltraHD at 60p over 12G-SDI and performs all processing in a high-fidelity 12-bit RGB color space. At its core are six distinct processing pipelines, including the proprietary AJA Color Pipeline, Colorfront, ORION-CONVERT, BBC HLG LUTs, NBCU LUTs, and an ACES pipeline. This versatility allows users to perform a wide variety of conversions, such as SDR to HDR, HDR to SDR, and HDR to HDR, while maintaining creative intent. With extensive support for 3D LUTs and dynamic integration with leading on-set grading applications like Pomfort Livegrade and Assimilate Live Looks, the ColorBox is an indispensable tool for DITs, colorists, and broadcast engineers.

Key Features

Real-time HDR/WCG processor with support for formats up to 4K/UltraHD 60p.

Features six processing pipelines: AJA Color, Colorfront, ORION-CONVERT, BBC HLG LUTs, NBCU LUTs, and ACES.

High-fidelity 12-bit RGB internal color processing.

Extensive 1D/3D LUT and color correction support with 16 onboard storage slots for each.

Dynamic LUT integration with Pomfort Livegrade, Assimilate Live Looks, and QTAKE.

12G-SDI input and two 12G-SDI outputs for easy integration into professional workflows.

Specifications

Specification

Detail

SKU

COLORBOX-R0

EAN/GTIN

812321032659

Weight

1.13 kg

Country of Origin

USA

Video Input

1x 12G-SDI BNC

Video Outputs

2x 12G-SDI BNCs

Max Resolution Support

(4K) 4096x2160p up to 60 fps

Internal Processing

12-bit RGB

Color Pipelines

AJA Color, Colorfront, ORION-CONVERT, BBC HLG LUTs, NBCU LUTs, ACES

Dynamic LUT Integration

Pomfort Livegrade, Assimilate Live Looks, QTAKE
