Equipped with four ASMedia 3142 USB 3.2 Gen 2 controllers and capable of transferring up to 10 Gb/s per port with compatible devices, this PCIe 3.0 x16 card can supply up to 7.5W, 1.5A of power per port to connected hard drives, SSDs, and other supported USB Type-C devices. The card is compatible with select versions of Windows, Mac, and Linux.

A resettable fuse on each port protects both the card and computer should a cable or peripheral fail. Resetting a tripped fuse is simple. Just shut down and then restart your computer.
